Tennis : World No.1 Iga Swiatek lifts her Second Indian Wells Title.

Polish women’s singles tennis ace Iga Swiatek captured her second Indian Wells title as she tamed Maria Sakkari 6-4, 6-0.

Swiatek doled out two aces compared to Sakkari’s one. Siwatek had two double faults to her opponent’s one. She claimed a 76% win on the first serve and a 75% win on the second. Swiatek converted 5/8 breakpoints.

Swiatek is the first player to win 10-plus consecutive matches against top-10 in women’s singles since Swiatek herself. She now is the fourth player in 2000s with multiple such streaks after Venus Williams, Justine Henin and Serena Williams. Swiatek also is the third player to secure multiple titles at Indian Wells before turning 23 after Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters.
