Despite the setbacks the club has the chance to clinch at least one trophy this year as it is slated to face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final. Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are ranked seventh and eighth on the list with a respective valuation of $4.49 billion and $4.26 billion. Rise of the football in the USA
Although the European clubs have dominated the top-ten list, but it is the football or soccer (in USA’s context) clubs from the United States of America that have dominated the complete list of 50 clubs. Nineteen Major League Soccer (MLS) have been listed in the top 50. Los Angeles FC and Inter Miami are the two highest ranked American football clubs with a respective valuation of $1.28 billion and Inter Miami.
The dominance of the MLS clubs on the list reaffirms that America is fast emerging as a valuable market for the sport. The USA is bound to host and co-host two of the biggest football tournaments in the months to come. The country will first play host to the revamped and expanded 32-team FIFA Club World Cup in June this year. Next year, USA along with Canada and Mexico, will co-host the FIFA World Cup.
