The TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) begins from March 22nd, 2024. As the stage is set for Cricket’s most thrilling spectacle, let’s have a look at the top 5 stars who return at the TATA IPL 2024. 

1. Rishabh Pant.
After missing the 2023 season of the TATA IPL, Rishabh Pant now looks as fresh as new to make a strong comeback and entertain the audiences. The man who is known for playing unconventional shorts with the bat is much anticipated by the audiences. 
Pant had to be sidelined from the Delhi Capitals’ squad after sustaining severe injuries in a horrific car crash accident. Fourteen months later, his return to the Delhi Capitals is going to be a big boost to the lineup. Pant will be a part of Delhi Capitals who are known to have a fiery batting lineup in the form of David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Prithvi Shaw.

2. Jasprit Bumrah
The spearhead of the Indian fast bowling cartel is all set to be back in the Blue and Gold of the paltan from Mumbai. Jasprit Bumrah, having missed the previous season due to a back injury, Bumrah would be eyeing to break the opponent’s stumps with his toe crushing yorkers. 3. Shreyas Iyer
Shreyas Iyer had to opt out of the TATA IPL 2023 due to a back injury. He then also had to undergo a surgery. But as a formidable top / middle order batsman, Iyer had a startling ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Iyer, after having an amazing comeback on the international stage, is now all set to display his skills at the Kolkata Knight Riders in the upcoming season of the TATA IPL.

4. Pat Cummins
Pat Cummins, this season has already caught people’s attention even before the start of the tournament. The bowling all-rounder found a place in the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad for a whopping price of INR Rs 20.5 crore. The Australian Captain is geared up to lead the orange army, Sunrisers Hyderabad after his leadership heroics at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Cummins had to pull out of the previous season of the TATA IPL to manage his workload for his commitments towards the international fixtures. He would be handy with the new ball and would also be effective in the death. 
Cummins last played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2022 and now would be looking forward to delivering big for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

5. Mitchell Starc
The most anticipated player at the TATA IPL over the years is finally available and fit to play the upcoming season in the world’s most celebrated cricketing league. His raw pace is going to turn heads and there is no doubt that the fast bowling machine from Sydney, Australia will be looking forward to breaking the stumps with his lethal pace and living up to the amount. 
Not just that, after missing eight seasons, Starc was roped in by the Kolkata Knight Riders at a massive amount of INR 24.75 crore. After a fierce bidding at the auction table by Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and the Gujarat Titans, it was the Knights who held the bragging rights for having a player of that high stature in the team. 
Starc last played an IPL game back in 2015 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
