The upcoming season of the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL), starting June 12, is set to get a big boost in stature and scale. While the Adani Group has been announced as the Title Sponsor for the league, AISECT Group has come onboard as the “Presented By” sponsor.
The league, gearing up for its second season, will be held at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Shankarpur, Gwalior. It is organized by the Gwalior Division Cricket Association (GDCA) under the aegis of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association.
Welcoming the Adani Group’s collaboration with the league, MPL Chairman Mahanaaryaman Scindia said, “We are happy to have Adani Group as our title sponsor. Their support and commitment towards sports development in India resonate with our vision of making MPL one of the premier cricket tournaments in the country. We look forward to an exciting season.”
An Adani Group spokesperson added, “We are thrilled to be associated with MPL. It’s also exciting to see the inclusion of a Women’s Cricket League this year, promoting gender inclusivity and offering a platform for aspiring women cricketers. We look forward to a season full of inspiring performances.”
Known for its work in education, skill development, and sports, AISECT’s involvement underscores MPL’s commitment to regional sports development.
Scindia also expressed his enticement on the AISECT Group’s involvement in the league.

Expanded Format and Women’s League Debut:
With more corporate backing, the number of men’s team participating in the league will go up from five to seven. The league is also set to introduce a women’s division too.
Bundelkhand Bulls and Chambal Ghariyals are the two new men’s team.

Jersey Unveiling Ceremony
Ahead of the season opener, the jersey unveiling ceremony for all 10 franchises was held, drawing attendance from players, team officials, and dignitaries from across Madhya Pradesh. The event stirred widespread anticipation and showcased the fresh looks of both men’s and women’s teams.
With increased participation, stronger sponsorship support, and the introduction of the women’s league, MPL 2025 promises to deliver high-quality cricket and a step forward in regional sports development.
