With just ten days left until kabaddi fever explodes in the Playoffs, five teams have already punched their tickets to the big dance. But the battle for the final spot is heating up, with the Haryana Steelers needing just one win to join the party.
Jaipur Pink Panthers, led by the charismatic Sunil Kumar, are already dreaming of a passionate Hyderabad crowd cheering them on. “The fans there are amazing,” says Kumar, “and with Rahul Chaudhari being a local hero, we expect their roar to carry us.”
Dabang Delhi K.C., with a week’s break before their playoff clash, is determined to utilize every moment. “We’ll work hard, follow the coach’s plan, and give our best,” says skipper Ashu Malik.
Puneri Paltan, the other confirmed semifinalist, sees the extended break as an opportunity. Captain Aslam Inamdar explains, “We’ll practice, strategize, recover, and come back stronger, ready to rectify our mistakes and play our best combination.“
While the stakes are higher in the Playoffs, Inamdar emphasizes the importance of handling pressure effectively. “We’ve been here before,” he says, “and know that in knockout matches, there’s no room for error.”
With Puneri Paltan and Jaipur Pink Panthers vying for the top two spots, the remaining three teams are locked in a tight battle for the other semifinal positions. One thing’s for sure: the next ten days will be a thrilling ride as the Pro Kabaddi League gears up for an electrifying climax.
