Leading up to the competition, he clinched a bronze medal at the World Cup 2024 in Antalya, Turkey, adding to his impressive resume. He was also a key member of the Indian men’s team that won a silver medal at the Asian Games 2023, alongside archers Atanu Das and Tushar Shelke, where they narrowly lost to the Republic of Korea in the final.
