In a thrilling showdown on Saturday, Dabang Delhi K.C. triumphed over Telugu Titans with a commanding 44-33 victory in New Delhi. Head Coach Rambir Singh Khokhar expressed his elation, highlighting the stellar defensive efforts that turned the tide in their favor.
Khokhar emphasized the crucial role played by defenders Ashish and Yogesh, who successfully thwarted raiders like Pawan Sehrawat. Reflecting on the team’s comprehensive performance, he commended the raiding prowess of Manjeet and Ashu Malik.
The coach acknowledged the challenge of their previous loss to Bengal Warriors but lauded the team’s resilience in the face of adversity. “It was difficult to take the loss against Bengal Warriors. However, our team put up a complete performance against the Telugu Titans. We performed well in the raiding and defence departments,” Khokhar stated.
Captain Ashu Malik emerged as a standout performer, racking up an impressive 20 raid points in the game. Teammate Manjeet praised Ashu’s skills and motivation, saying, “Ashu is a really good raider, and he motivates all of us to give our best on the mat. We are definitely ready to step up for the team in case Ashu has a poor day on the mat.”
