IPL 2024 : 3 reasons why SRH can end RCB’s Playoff Hopes

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will next see the Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on the most destructive batting lineup of the tournament in the form of Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently in third place, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the wooden spooners, with a mere one win from eight matches.

The game against SRH is likely to serve as a last opportunity for RCB to qualify for the playoffs. It’s going to be curtains to their IPL 2024 campaign. However, in front of RCB is the mighty batting lineup of SRH who only knows to play the game one way – destruction personified.

Let’s tell you three reasons why RCB’s campaign can come to an end against SRH.

1. Fiery SRH top-order
The Sunrisers’ top batters have been playing really well lately, and they’re not going easy on the bowlers at all. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma are hitting the ball hard and making it really tough for the bowlers to stop them. The bowlers from the opposing team, RCB, are having a tough time too. It seems like they’re going to struggle against the strong hitting of Head and Abhishek.

2. Astute Leadership
Pat Cummins knows the exact way to cook a perfect Hyderabadi Biryani. In the IPL 2024, he’s been leading his team exceptionally well. He’s been delivering on his promises, which sets him apart from other captains. However, RCB’s leadership hasn’t been as good this season. It’s not fair to only blame the captain when the whole team isn’t performing at its best.

3. Home Advantage
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) continues a formidable home ground advantage in the IPL 2024, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Familiarity with the pitch conditions and the comfort of playing in familiar surroundings further amplifies their prowess, often proving to be a daunting challenge for visiting teams. SRH’s home ground stands not only as a fortress but also as a sanctuary where their unity with their supporters becomes a potent force, propelling them towards victory in their quest for IPL glory.

The SRH are doing well in the tournament, sitting comfortably at the third spot with 10 points from seven matches. On the other hand, RCB, who is eager to win, knows that as the tournament goes on, their bowling strength will be put to the test, especially against SRH.
