In a captivating Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 match on Friday, the Bengaluru Bulls showcased their tactical prowess by defeating Telugu Titans 42-26. The Head Coach of Bengaluru Bulls, Randhir Singh, lauded the team’s performance and gave a special mention to the emerging talent, Akshit, as the surprise package of the match.
“We needed to stop Pawan from scoring too many points, and we did that,” remarked Randhir Singh. Recognizing the threat posed by Telugu Titans, Singh added, “I knew that they would play very freely as they have nothing to lose. Pawan didn’t score a Super 10 against us, and he’s been recording Super 10s quite regularly this season.”
The spotlight, however, fell on Bengaluru’s young raider, Akshit, who scored an impressive 9 raid points during the game. Singh, who had hinted at a surprise before the match, expressed satisfaction, stating, “I put him under strenuous training in the last two days. He played very well and was tackled just once in the game. He was our best player against Telugu Titans.”
Acknowledging the defensive strength, Singh praised the seasoned Pro Kabaddi League veteran Surjeet Singh, emphasizing the importance of patience. “Surjeet is a good player, but he needed to learn how to be patient,” said Singh. “Earlier, he would score five points and give away three to four points as well. Now I have taught him to be patient, and I would like to congratulate him for his performance against Telugu Titans.”
Looking ahead, the Bengaluru Bulls are gearing up for their next challenge against Tamil Thalaivas on Sunday. As they continue their Pro Kabaddi League campaign, the team’s strategic brilliance and the emergence of young talents like Akshit paint a promising picture for the Bulls in Season 10.
