It was a historic day for Indian sports when Avani Lekhara won the gold medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024 in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 event. The victory marked Avani Lekhara’s second consecutive gold at the Paralympics and third medal in Paralympics, sealing her position as one of India’s greatest Paralympians.
