Indian Grandmaster Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa has achieved a major career milestone by becoming India’s highest-ranked chess player in the live FIDE ratings after winning the UzChess Cup Masters 2025 in Tashkent. With a live rating of 2778.3, the 19-year-old now ranks world no.4, surpassing compatriots D Gukesh and Arjun Erigaisi.
